The 2008 Race for the Cure will be held at the Lubbock Civic Center.  More details to come soon.  Thank you for your support and we will see you on Race Day!

*Race Day Location*
The Race will begin at the Lubbock Civic Center located at 1501 Mac Davis Lane.  Pre-Race activities and the starting line will be on the north side of the Civic Center. Refreshments and awards presentations will be located in the lower bowl parking area (north west parking area).  Parking will be available in all Civic Center parking lots with special, reserved parking for survivors.

Breast Cancer Survivors
We are here to celebrate you!  All survivors will be recognized with a complimentary pink cap and pink t-shirt provided by Zeta Tau Alpha and RE/MAX. Please join us for a complimentary breakfast inside the Civic Center at 6:45am.

Online Registration
Individuals and Teams can register at www.komenlubbock.org. Online Individual Registrants need to pick up Race bibs, t-shirts and information at South Plains Mall at registration times (see below). Online Team Registrants see “Teaming Up for the Cure®”.

Teaming Up for the Cure
Multiply your efforts by registering as a team!  You may register or add members in person or online at www.komenlubbock.org.  Recruit 10 or more individuals to run or walk the 5K or 1 Mile event.  Each participant must complete an entry form and include the team name on each form.  If you are interested in receiving team information, please contact the Komen office at 698-1900 or at komenteams@gmail.com . 

- Team entry fee - $20.00 per person early registration (through September 22nd) $25.00 per person after September 22nd.  

- Team Packet pickup: Saturday, September 27th at South Plains Mall 10am - 7pm.

Mail registration must be postmarked by Sept. 29th, 2008.  

Race Day Registration
Registration fee on Race Day is $30.
Registration times are 6:30-8:30am at the Lubbock Civic Center.
T-shirt supplies are limited to the first 7000 participants.

T-Shirts and Sponsor Gifts
Race participants will receive a short-sleeve Komen Race for the Cure® t-shirt while supplies last (the first 7000 registrants only). Participants may choose great gifts from our sponsors by attending the Expo on Race Day at the lower bowl parking area. Bags and products available while supplies last.

CANCELLATION:This event will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Komen Lubbock Race for the Cure®.
