


























































Interns that work in the Lubbock Area Affiliate’s office utilize their skills and give a dedicated amount of time each week to the Affiliate. The Lubbock Area Affiliate is continuously seeking office help. Komen internships are unpaid oppertunities, available to students seeking nonprofit experience. To be eligible for consideration, you must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the semester which you plan to participate in the internship.
The Lubbock Area Affiliate is currently seeking office interns for the summer of 2010 and for the fall 2010 academic semester.
Office Interns – Perform a variety of tasks depending on project deadlines in the office. Office interns are responsible for answering phones, managing walk-in traffic, managing daily tasks and running various errands. Basic computers skills are necessary.

The Lubbock Area Affiliate is seeking a Community Profile Intern.
Community Profile interns must be graduate level students who have an interest in qualitative research. Community Profile - refers to the assessment process Komen Affiliates take on every two years in order to understand the state of breast cancer in their service areas.
