Application Submission

Grant Applications for the Lubbock Area Affiliate are accepted annually in December. Applications must be based on and follow the guidelines of the Request for Application (RFA) . Any applications that do not meet the guidelines will not be considered for funding.

Application Review

In February, a merit review will be performed by an independent review committee that includes members of the community and breast cancer survivors.

The reviewers rate applications based on a number of criteria which are closely aligned with the Statement of Need listed in the Request for Application.  A ranked slate is presented to the Board of Directors .  The Board of Directors approves the slate and grant funding for the upcoming fiscal year.

Recipients will be announced on or before March 1.
